Celebrating a Wonderful Year!

The students and staff at Talala Elementary celebrated the end of the 2009-2010 school year with a variety of activities. The whole school took a trip to the Brookfield Zoo and enjoyed seeing the animals and new Great Bear Wilderness Exhibit. Many of the classes also had picnics at Somonauk Park in the last week of school. The students enjoyed playing games, seeing the petting zoo, jumping in the bounce houses, and having their faces painted during Field Day. The Awards Assembly was held the last day of school for the third thru fifth grade students to celebrate their academic achievements. Thank you to all the Talala families for another wonderful year. We will see you in the fall!
